The Publix & Shopping Plaza on Veteran's Memorial Highway Is Spoiling Me!!!
The new shopping plaza on Veteran's Memorial Highway (Bankhead Highway) in Cobb County is really doing a job on my sudden munchies and drive time!
I'm lovin' it better than any Mickey D's any old day!
I noticed that the Publix has a very nice ethnic section within the frozen food department. I've bought the Pad Thai on several occasions and it is always great.
Marie Callender's makes a serious orange chicken dinner as well.
I found the same items in Kroger within the area, but you simply cannot beat the drive.
The new subdivision Providence by John Weiland is directly across the street and clearly was the developer's motivation for placing the plaze there.
I looked at the plaza land for years as a great place for a church.
There are also a couple of banks within the immediate area: Washington Mutual and Bank of America.
I hate it that some new building is being constructed right in the face of the Washington Mutual branch and they should get a huge refund as a result of the placement of the standalone building going up.
Wendy's is within the same plaza basically, an UPS Store is being finished, Subway, and a host of other places I have not tried but will eventually.

Close Enough to Atlanta, But Just Far Enough Away!
The impulse suddenly hit me to start a blog on Mableton, GA 30126 since there is a lot of development going on and the area is about to change faster than ever.
Any thoughts, ideas, or comments are welcomed and I will pretty much take a hands off approach to views and opinions regardless of how dissenting I might be.
Let's simply start a dialogue on Mableton and see where it goes from there.
